It’s been only a couple of days since Xiaomi announced the new Xiaomi Mi 11 in China, now we are already getting leaks of the Pro model of the Mi 11 i.e., the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro. Although Xiaomi didn’t inform the audience about the Pro version while launching the Mi 11. There were already a few rumors regarding the launch of Mi 11 Pro in February, but we didn’t have any idea of the design and the specifications. Now, a couple of leaked images of Mi 11 Pro surfaced online, revealing the rear design of the smartphone.
The latest leak is coming from a Chinese website named MyDrivers, showing off the rear design with a different camera module from Mi 11 and shown in two different colors. But looking at the images, it seems like it is just a render, not the official banner. The Mi 11 Pro features a rectangular camera module with a quad-camera housing unlike the triple camera setup in Mi 11 with squared camera housing.
Like the periscope camera in Mi 10 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro also going to feature the periscope camera that will be able to perform 120x zoom. The Mi 10 Ultra featured a periscope camera with 10x optical zoom, so we expect an equivalent case with the periscope camera in Mi 11 Pro as well.
Although we don’t know the exact specifications of the smartphone, but from the Mi 11 launch, we can predict a few things of the smartphone, specs-wise like the primary 108-megapixel camera sensor at the rear, we can’t think anything less than that. Other camera sensors may include an ultrawide, macro, and either monochrome or just a zoom sensor.
Under the hood, Xiaomi is going to include the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, that obvious, but speaking of RAM and onboard storage, we may see a few different variants than Mi 11. Maybe up to 16 GB RAM and up to 512 GB or 1TB onboard storage, running on UFS 3.1.
Mi 11 has a 6.81-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and supports a 240Hz touch response rate, so we can expect a similar or exact same number in the display section of the Mi 11 Pro. So, technically speaking the only changes that can be seen in the Pro model id the camera module and its housing. Nevertheless, we will wait for more specs and for Xiaomi to confirm these specs and design.
