The details regarding next PlayStation, as well as the next Xbox, are scarce as far as official sources are confirmed. Sony and Microsoft have also been tight-lipped about their next products and what to expect from them. However, we always have the benefit of getting leaks for any product that is launching ahead of time. Similarly, we now have the price and specifications of the next PlayStation likely to be named as PS5 and also the next Xbox.
Regarding the price, a popular gaming forum ResetEra has told that the next PlayStation, as well as Xbox, will be priced the same as the PS4 and Xbox One were priced initially. This means we will not see any price bumps from the previous prices but we should not expect lower prices too.

Also, it is expected that Microsoft will once again release two Xbox variants. One of the Xbox variants will be a streaming-only console whereas the other will be a proper gaming console. The later of the two upcoming Xbox variants is codenamed as ‘Anaconda’ internally, as per reports.
The most interesting detail that we have regarding the upcoming PlayStation and Xbox is that they are slated to release in the holiday season of 2020. Yes, there will not be a new PlayStation or Xbox releasing this year. Also, we need to wait at least 1 and a half years for the latest versions of the gaming console. According to the same source, PS5 will start at $399 whereas the PS5 Pro will be obviously priced higher.
On the other hand, Microsoft’s Xbox will start at $499. As far as internals are concerned, the PS5 is expected to have 12GB GDDR6 and 1TB SSD. The next Xbox is also expected to have the same internals as the upcoming PlayStation from Sony. One of the users on ResetEra also confirmed that “hardware is partially true, Storage is true”
