Back in August, Sony launched its first PS5 ready 4K Android TV in India and now within just two months, the company has brought its newest flagship 8K TV for the country dubbed as Sony Z8H. Sony Z8H is Sony’s first 8K TV in India. The company has also announced a 75 inches model for global markets.

Sony Z8H sports a full array LED Triluminous 85 inches to display with a native 8K 7680 x 4320 pixels resolution. It has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and comes with HDR 10 and Dolby Vision support. This Sony smart TV is powered by Sony X1 Ultimate processor that the company claims is twice fast as its predecessor, X1 Extreme. The smart TV comes with an internal storage of 16 GB. As of now, the company has not revealed anything about the RAM.

Sony Z8H is the first 8K television from the company to be officially certified as ‘PS5-ready’. The smart TV is integrated with the Bravia Game Mode option that enables users to optimize performance for the PlayStation 5. Sony Z8H comes with a voice-enabled remote that can control certain features of the upcoming gaming console.

As far as hardware is concerned, Sony Z8H’s audio hardware includes Sony’s Acoustic Multi Audio speaker system that comes with two mid-range drivers, two subwoofers, and two tweeters. The gadget also supports Dolby Atmos surround sound technology.

Sony Z8H runs on Android TV 9.0 Pie. It supports Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Apple AirPlay 2, Apple HomeKit, and Google Chromecast. The smart TV comes with as many as 4 HDMI ports and 3 USB ports.

The company has tagged Sony Z8H with a price tag of INR 13,99,990. This price is over expensive because eventually, the company is charging almost twice what it is charging in the US market. In the US market, the same TV set sells at the US $ 9,999 (which is around INR 7.4 lakh only).

If you are still interested to purchase it then you can get your hands on the Sony smart TV through Sony’s retail stores, Sony India website, and other major online and offline stores.
