Sapphire launches Radeon RX 570 with 16 VRAM for Crypto Mining

Sapphire Technologies has just unveiled their latest GPU to the world. This GPU from Sapphire is the Sapphire RX 570 16 GB HDMI Blockchain. This GPU is specially built for Crypto Mining and the name would suggest. We know that the trends of cryptocurrency are on a decline. However, there are still plenty of users who are involved in crypto mining and Sapphire wants to cash-in on that userbase.

There are 2,304 Stream Processors on the Sapphire RX 570 16 GB HDMI Blockchain graphics card which is the same as standard Radeon RX 570 from the company. But we do have an upgrade in terms of the VRAM included on this chip. We get 16 GB of GDDR5 VRAM which is more than the standard version of the Sapphire Radeon RX 570 GPU. There is a 256-bit wide interface for the memory and the memory bandwidth is 224 GB/s which is exactly the same as RX 570.

Now, one of the most important aspects of any GPU, especially the one that is made for Crypto Mining purposes is the cooling system. For this, the Sapphire RX 570 16 GB HDMI Blockchain sports a dual-slot design featuring the company’s Dual-X cooling system. This design comes with two dual-ball 95mm cooling fans which are enough to let the GPU get enough ventilation.

Also, the cooling fans have Quick Connect Fan Technology from Sapphire which keeps them connected with a single screw only. However, the main advantage of this system is that a user can easily change the fans as it only has a single screw.

This GPU from Sapphire comes with AMD’s Polaris 20 architecture and has a 14nm process node. Apart from that, you get an HDMI display port on this GPU for getting display output. We get an 8-pin PCIe power connector on this GPU and it is claimed to have 175 Watt of TDP. Now, if you are interested in Crypto Mining and want to purchase this GPU then you will get this from Sapphire’s official website very soon.
