Poco X3 NFC launched globally with Snapdragon 732G SoC

Globally, Poco X3 NFC has been launched as the brand’s latest entrant into its X series of smartphones. This Poco X3 is the successor of Poco X2 that was launched in February this year. Before we dig deep, it must be noted that as of now, information regarding price and availability regarding the launch in India is not available.

Just like any other handset of Poco, this handset comes with an impressive list of specifications. The device has a display with slim bezels all around, a quad rear camera setup, and an octa-core processor. Poco X3 comes with two RAM and storage configurations and two color options. The color options are Cobalt Blue and Shadow Grey.

Interestingly, unlike familiar launch events, this time, Poco X3 NFC is launched through a virtual event that was streamed on the company’s official social media handles.

This Poco handset will hit the sales tomorrow, on 8th September 2020 with an early bird pricing of EUR 199 (which is roughly INR 17,300) for the base variant and EUR 249 (which is roughly INR 21,700) for the high-end variant. The early bird discount offer is a limited period offer. It will be valid till 11th September 2020 only.

Poco X3 NFC comes with dual SIM options. It runs on MIUI 12 which is based on Android 10. It comes with a 6.67 inches Full HD+ display with DybamicSwtich feature, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10 certification. The glass is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The handset is powered by newly launched octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC and the graphics unit is headed by Adreno 618 GPU.

Poco X3 NFC has a 64 MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor with an f/1.73 lens, a 13 MP sensor with a 119-degree wide-angle lens, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 2 MP macro shooter. In the front, there is a 20 MP sensor housed in the hole-punch cutout.

As far as storage is concerned, the storage can be boosted with the help of a microSD card. It can support up to 256 GB external storage. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, one 3.5mm headphone jack, and one USB Type-C port. The handset is backed by a 5160 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charge technology. The phone comes with a number of sensors such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and proximity sensor. Poco X3 comes with an IP53 rating.

Poco X3 NFC comes with a minimum price tag of EUR 229 (which is roughly INR 19900). This is for the model with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. It features a display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. On the other hand, the model with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage comes with a price tag of EUR 269 (which is roughly INR 23,400).
