According to the latest news, the OnePlus Watch launched on 23rd March 2021. Just a few days ago, specifications of the smartwatch had appeared from official sources. Previously, some of the features were even leaked too. Today, OnePlus’s CEO, Pete Lau revealed more information in this regard.
Lau posted a tweet earlier today revealing that the OnePlus Watch will come with more than 110 workout modes. He added a short animated video in the tweet that shows some of the basic workout modes such as walking, cycling, swimming, running, badminton, cricket, weightlifting, ballet, shooting, and free training.
Recently, a high number of supported sports modes on smartwatches have been a trend that most smartwatch manufacturers are implementing in their devices. For example, smartwatches like Amazfit GTS 2, Amazfit GTR 2, the Huawei Watch Fit, and Honor Watch ES come with more than 80 sports modes each.
The OnePlus Watch has a round dial of 46 mm with two buttons on the side. Apart from these workout modes, the smartwatch will also have a heart rate monitor, a SpO2 sensor, and a sleep tracker. The new iteration of the OnePlus Watch will also be able to control media playback, display notifications, answer phone calls, and work as a remote for OnePlus TVs.
The OnePlus Watch will run on a custom-made operating system based on RTOS. Other features include 4 GB internal storage, IP68 rating, fast charging support.
