OnePlus 8T to arrive with 120Hz AMOLED display and 48MP quad camera

Interestingly, Chinese tech giant OnePlus has been following a dual flagship release cycle over the last couple of years and it seems the company will follow the trend this year too. According to reports, OnePlus will come up with OnePlus 8T in 2020. The OnePlus 8T is codenamed Kebab.

Some reports suggest that OnePlus 8T is going to feature a 6.55 inches AMOLED display just like the regular OnePlus 8 but this time, it is going to come with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. OnePlus 8T is going to come with as many as four cameras in the rear. One of the rear cameras will be a 48 MP one which will be joined with a 16 MP wide-angle module, 5 MP macro module, and a 2 MP portrait module.

It must be noted that the regular OnePlus 8comes with three cameras in its rear. The three cameras are 48 MP lens, a 16 MP wide-angle lens, and a 2 MP macro lens. It seems that the 5 MP macro module is the new add up. However, it must be noted that this time, the cameras come with newer image sensors that are more promising to shoot even better pictures.

The handset is going to be powered by a Snapdragon 865+ chipset along with an 8 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage. As far as the operating system is concerned, it will run on OxygenOS 11 which is based on out of the box Android 11. Interestingly, OnePlus 7T was the first phone that unboxed Android 10 last year. It seems, this time, its successor, OnePlus 8T will continue the legacy this time.

OnePlus 8T is expected to be launched between the last week of September the first week of October this year.
