Microsoft is expected to launch its new generations of Surface Pro and Surface Laptop by early next year. These gadgets are now passing through different certifications in Korea. Today, some images of these gadgets appeared online. The leaked images confirm that the devices won’t be featuring any new design.
At first, the certification listings have been spotted by Cozyplanes on Twitter. He noted the certification listings confirming the model numbers. The Surface Laptop comes with model number 1950 while the Surface Pro comes with model number 1960.
Some experts are speculati8ng that there will be only minor updates this time in both the models. Microsoft might eventually name call the devices “new Surface Pro” and “new Surface Laptop” similar to what it did with Surface Pro X this year.
As per some industry rumours, the “new” Surface Pro and Surface Laptop will launch in mid January and feature Intel 11th generation processors and Intel Iris Xe graphics and for Surface Laptop, there will also be an option for AMD processors. Surface Pro 8 might also feature an LTE option.
As per some rumors, Microsoft is planning to start rolling out Surface Duo in more markets shortly after the launch of the new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop. Overall, it seems that Microsoft’s early 2021 hardware line up will consist of a new Surface Pro, a Surface Laptop, and Surface Duo rollouts to more markets.
There is also some speculation about Surface Go 2. Some of the experts are considering that it might show up as early as January 2021. However, there is no news about a new Surface Studio so it seems, the company will not come up with a Surface Studio anytime soon.
