Recently, Marshall has unveiled its newly redesigned line of headphones, Major IV. There is something unique about it. Exactly a decade ago, Marshall, the high-end audio equipment manufacturer launched its first-ever headphone dubbed as Major and now, the company has unveiled its fourth-generation Major headphone. Marshall Major IV comes with wireless charging support.

Today, there are plenty of wireless earbuds that come with Qi wireless charging support and there are plenty of over the ear headphones too that come with the same technology. Marshall Major IV is an exception in this department as it is essentially a pair of over the ear headphones that you can charge wirelessly which means there are two ways that you can charge this headphone. Either you can plug in a traditional USB Type C cable or use any Qi-compatible wireless charger. In simple words, this means, you will be able to charge this headphone using any smartphone that supports reverse wireless charging.

Marshall has integrated a powerful battery in Major IV. The company claims that it can offer 80+ hours with one full charge. Note that, this claim seems to be promising because the company has already delivered 60+ hours of battery life in its 3rd generation of Major. Marshall claims that this headphone “is easier to use, more comfortable to wear and even better sounding.”

Another unique feature of this headphone is you can continue using the headphones even when its massive battery gets drained out. There is also a standard joystick controller on one of the earcups. Users will be able to control media playback, volume, and other important functions with it.

The headphones are now available for pre-order on Marshall’s official online store. The company has tagged this gadget with a price tag of US $149 (which is around INR 10,897). The company has not yet scheduled its shipping dates. Marshall will start shipping the orders of Major IV very soon.
