LG, the company which is known for smartphones, also releases monitors for PCs. It is fair to say that the LG Monitors for PCs are popular as well. Now, the company has announced their latest products releasing soon. Also, LG has announced that these monitors are releasing at CES 2019. These latest monitors from LG are in their ‘ultra’ range. Now, it is worth noting that CES 2019 will be held at the beginning of January which is just a few weeks away from now.
LG’s UltraWide Monitor will have a whopping 49-inch screen along with a 32:9 aspect ratio. This screen will offer two 16:9 screens side-by-side. Now, it is worth noting that LG’s current portfolio offers a maximum of a 34-inch display. This LG UltraWide Monitor has the model number 49WL95. This display comes at a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels resolution.
The LG UltraWide Monitor has a pixel density of 108 PPI. This means that the monitor has a resolution which is above 2K resolution and just below 4K. Now, this is all about the first monitor that LG brand is releasing. For the second monitor, LG has a new gaming monitor to be announced at the event. This monitor will fit into the LG UltraGear Gaming Monitor range.
As expected, this is a gaming monitor so it has to have a high refresh rate. This is because we can experience the gameplay better if the screen refreshes faster. Therefore, the same is the case with LG’s UltraGear Monitor. It has a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
Apart from that, this monitor is also a curved one. This helps in viewing each and every corner inside the game with ease. This monitor has a 21:9 aspect ratio but the display size has not been revealed yet. The prices are also not announced but expect them to be priced at a premium.
