Recently, Microsoft Your Phone app has become very useful for Windows 10 users because it allows users to pair their Android devices with PCs. It is very unfortunate that even today, the number of compatible devices on the list is limited. According to the latest news, to fill this scarcity, LG has rolled out its own Windows 10 app to pair your LG handset with your PC.
This was first reported by Softpedia. They reported that LG is launching the new Windows 10 app as its mobile phone is not on the compatible list for the Microsoft Your Phone app that supports flagship handsets like that of Samsung. In simple words, LG is not waiting for Microsoft to bring its devices in the compatibility list, instead, it is launching its own service that will allow users to sync their smartphone with Windows 10.
The new app is named Virtoo. Virtoo app utilizes Bluetooth to pair your PC with your smartphone. It also enabled the PC to gain access to certain smartphone functionalities directly from the computer. As per official notes, “Virtoo by LG is a smartphone app for LG PC users. It allows a Bluetooth connection between a smartphone and a PC to enable users to use various smartphone functions on the PC. Use Virtoo by LG to enjoy a more comfortable computing environment.”
However, it should be noted that each and every LG handset model will not be supported. This means there will be some limitations despite the company launching its own dedicated app to sync Windows 10 devices. Virtoo app will allow users to send messages from their PCs, access media stored on the phone, and make phone calls. It will also allow screen mirroring.
