According to the latest news, Lenovo has announced a new lineup of IdeaPad laptops for 2021. However, the company stated that in the US, it will launch only one of them. In the US, the company will only launch a 16 inches IdeaPad 5 Pro.
The company revealed that IdeaPad 5 Pro is going to be one of the most powerful IdeaPad laptops the company has ever made. It will be powered by an H-Series AMD Ryzen mobile processor and “next generation” Nvidia GeForce RTX GPUs. It will come with up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory and 1 TB of SSD PCIe M.2 storage.
IdeaPad 5 Pro is going to be the first IdeaPad laptop to offer a display of 16:10. Other display features include a 90 per cent screen to body ratio, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and 400 nits of brightness. The company said that this laptop will come with a bigger trackpad than previous IdeaPads.
There will also be an improved keyboard with “soft-landing switches.” IdeaPad 5 Pro will hit the sales in May 2021 and the company has tagged with a price tag of starting from US $ 1,149.99.
The company also announced IdeaPad 5G 14 and the IdeaPad 5i Pro. IdeaPad 5G 14 will be available in “select markets” and its timeline has not yet been revealed. IdeaPad 5i Pro will be available in Europe, Middle East, and Africa from March 2021 onwards. These laptops will be powered by Intel processors.
