Last week, Apple launched the iPhone series 12. This time the company released as many as four devices. Apple will start taking pre-orders for the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max from 6th November 2020. However, you won’t have to wait until then to get a feel of how tiny this year’s iPhone“mini” is because a hands-on video running over 40 minutes in length was posted on YouTube by George Buhnici.
Now sooner than it was posted, it was taken down due to some unclear reasons, and then the video resurfaced, thanks to 9to5Mac.
Note that this is the first real-world look of the iPhone 12 mini. It comes with a display of 5.4 inches. As far as the design is concerned, it is a notched display which is first introduced with the iPhone 12. This means users won’t have to deal with the bezels or the wasted space of something like in the second-generation iPhone SE. iPhone 12 mini starts at the US $699 which is less than the US $100 less than the iPhone 12 which comes with a 6.1 inches display.
However, other than the smaller display and battery, the other specifications of the iPhone 12 mini are comparable and match the lineup. Pre-orders for the iPhone mini will kick off on 6th November and it will hit the sale on 13th November.
Just to let you know, this year’s iPhone lineup offers three significantly different phone sizes in a single product cycle. There are a 6.1 inches iPhone 12 and an iPhone 12 Pro of the same size. This makes iPhone 12 Pro smaller than the iPhone 11 and but slightly bigger than the iPhone 11 Pro. These two handsets were joined by iPhone 12 Pro Max and the iPhone 12 mini.
