Intel powered foldable display Notebooks expected in the second half of 2021

It seems Intel is constantly trying to push the development of laptops with foldable displays. According to the latest news, Intel will mark a new breed of notebooks. Rumours suggest that the company might launch these gadgets in the commercial market sometime in the second half of this year. DigiTimes reported that Intel will have its chips power these new laptops.

The development of notebooks with foldable displays has been gaining momentum so we might see laptop and PC makers launch their offerings soon. The report further suggests Intel has been developing notebooks with a bending screen. These notebooks will hit the market by the end of 2021.

According to the report, the development of this new type of laptop has already reached its final stage. As of now, there is no official information regarding this. Also, we don’t have any finer details about the foldable screen notebooks too.

Interestingly, DigiTimes has reported the expected price of the gadgets too. According to their expectations, these foldable display laptops could be priced at around 70,000 New Taiwanese Dollars (roughly 2,469 US Dollars).

If this turns out to be true, then the pricing is steep. However, the size of the foldable display itself could be one of the major reasons for its high price tag.
