According to the latest news, Intel will reportedly launch its 11th generation Core series of processors next month. Previously, Intel only confirmed about Rocket Lake S series chips will be available within the first quarter of this year. Now, a report claims that the chips will launch on 15th March 2021.
HKEPC reported that the 11th generation Intel processors will be available next month. Some reports previously claimed that the new chips might arrive sometime in early April 2021 but the new report suggests that we might see the launch two weeks earlier. It is worth mention that Intel has already launched its latest 500 series motherboards which will support the new Rocket Lake S CPUs and PCI Gen4 for GPU and fast NVMe storage.
HKEPC reported that Intel will announce the 12th generation Core series of processors by the end of September 2021 and it might arrive in the market as early as by December 2021. The report also added that Alder Lake S series chips will be based on the 10 nm Enhanced SuperFin, instead of the 10 nm SuperFin architecture. In simple words, it means, the processors will be more power-efficient than the Tiger Lake series.
However, apart from the date, the report does not divulge any other finer information regarding the company’s supposed launch plans. It should be noted that this is still an unconfirmed report so we will have to wait for an official company announcement from Intel.
For now, it would be best to take this report with a pinch of salt. We hope to provide additional information as soon as some follow up news pops.
