Google has announced the launch date for its upcoming products. Google finally set to launch Pixel 5 along with its other new products on 30 September.
The event will be online because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Google tweeted and informed us about the launch event. Google’s ‘Launch Night In’ Event is scheduled to start at 11 AM Pacific Time Zone on 30 September. Google is yet to announce the live stream details about the event. We can expect the event to be live-streamed on YouTube probably.
Google Pixel 5
Pixel 5 is going to be the company’s new flagship model. The device will come with 5G support and is expected to come with a 90Hz display and 4000mAh Battery. Leaks are pointing toward Pixel 5 having a Snapdragon 765G processor instead of a flagship 8-series processor. If the leaks are true, then the launch price of the Google Pixel 5 will be affected due to its processor.
It is also expected to feature a 6-inch OLED Display packed with up to 8 GB RAM running on the latest Android 11.
Pixel 4A 5G
Google is also going to launch the 5g variant of its older model Pixel 4A. The 5g variant is going to have the same features as the regular variant. The 5g variant will be the mid-range 5g Pixel device.
Other Google products to be launched
We already knew about the launch of the Google Pixel 5 and 5g variant of Pixel 4A. What we didn’t know about is the new Chromecast, codenamed ‘Sabrina’ and smart speaker, ‘Nest’. Both of them are going to launch in the event along with Pixel 5 and Pixel 4A.
The new Google Chromecast is expected to cost around $50 and comes with a new improved UI for Google TV (Android TV), 4K Support, Dolby, and HDR as well. The new ‘Nest’ Smart Speaker looks like a bigger variant of Nest mini. The Nest comes in a light blue colour while there are rumours of a pink variant too.
