Google to roll out Buddy Passes for Stadia Pro subscriptions

Finally, Google is on its way of rolling out Buddy Passes Stadia’s Founder’s Edition buyers. This Buddy Pass will allow buyers to share their Stadia with another person. Turn, Buddy Pass owner gets three months of Stadia Pro for free.

On the other hand, they will also be able to play some free Stadia games like Destiny 2 and Tomb Raider. But however, apart from a few selective ones, they have to purchase their own games if they want to continue using Stadia for more than the initial three month period.

A Reddit user pointed out that this could serve as a replacement for a family plan for the interim 3 months before Google gets its own family sharing feature ready.

Moreover, in the coming week, Google Stadia users will get access to another pair of games under the Pro subscription. Yesterday, Google Stadia tweeted “Our Stadia Pro lineup keeps on growing! Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and Farming Simulator 19 are both coming to Stadia Pro in December. Just log-in; redeem them at no additional charge with Stadia Pro.”
