We know that the latest iPhones from Apple will be released later this year. It is already rumoured that at least one of the 2019 iPhones will have a triple rear camera setup. Also, the price of iPhones in 2019 will remain the same as last year. Now, we have received another report regarding Apple’s release plans for 2019. Ming-Chi Kuo, a famous Apple analyst and a reliable source regarding Apple, has come out with his new investor note. In this investor note, Kuo has reported that Apple will release a new MacBook Pro this year.
Now, it is not surprising that Apple will upgrade its MacBook Pro lineup. However, the surprise here is that Kuo reports Apple will release a 16-inch MacBook Pro this year. If the report is true then it will be the first time that a MacBook Pro from Apple will have a screen size more than 15-inch. Apart from the 16-inch MacBook Pro, Kuo also notes that a 31-inch 6K monitor from Apple is also currently in development.
This monitor from Apple will also be released later this year. Coming to the iPhones in 2019, Ming-Chi Kuo says that the 2019 iPhones will have the same screens sizes as that of 2018. Thus, we will see 6.5-inch, 6.1-inch and 5.8-inch iPhones in 2019 too. Interestingly, Apple’s 2019 iPhones will still have the Lightning port for connectivity. It seems like Apple’s plan for USB Type-C on iPhones has been dropped.
Another interesting tidbit is that 2019 iPhones will have frosted glass instead of glossy ones. Apart from that, the latest iPhones will have bilateral wireless charging for charging other devices. We will also see upgraded Face IDs on the latest iPhones for better and faster unlocking. Now, we already knew that the iPhone 11 Max is reported to be feature-packed and have a triple rear camera setup. On the other hand, iPhone 11 will still have a dual camera set up at the back.
