It’s official now! Apple is launching an Online Store in India to sell their products. There were rumors about an official Apple Online Store to launch in India for the last few years. According to reports, the store was supposed to come earlier this year but the pandemic ruined Apple’s plan. The Online Store is set to open on 23 September at their official site.
The Company had to rely on third-party stores, resellers, and online selling platforms such as Flipkart and Amazon.in to sell their products in India. This is great news for customers who faced problems and missed the experience of buying directly from Apple. Apple will sell all its products ranging from iPhones, iPads to Macs. Apple Specialists will always be there to assist with any of your questions regarding their products.
“We’re proud to be expanding in India and want to do all we can to support our customers and their communities,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail. Tim Cook also tweeted out saying, “We know how important it is for our customers to stay in touch with those they love and the world around them. We can’t wait to connect with our customers and expand support in India with the Apple Store online on September 23!”.
At the Apple Online Store, you get an option to trade your old iPhones and other smartphones and buy a brand new iOS device. You are also provided with different types of payment options such as Credit Card and Debit Card, EMI options, UPI, Net Banking, and Credit Card on Delivery. Apple will deliver their product through a contact-less delivery.
Also with the Online Store, Customers will now be able to customize Macs according to their needs: need more RAM? Or more external storage? maybe a powerful Graphics card? Get your Macs how you want it. Earlier, customers didn’t have the option to customize.
Customers can also avail AppleCare+ which will extend their device warranty up to 2 years of technical support and accidental damage coverage.
With Apple Online Store on its way to India, we will soon see the first offline Apple Store in Mumbai next year. Having an official store in India will open new paths for the Cupertino giant.
