This week has been packed with tons of rumors and leaks for the upcoming iPhone 12 and Apple gadgets. Mark Gurman, a well-known Apple reporter for Bloomberg, tweeted that Apple could announce the launch date of the iPhone 12 this week.
However, Mark Gurman doesn’t think Apple will release hardware this week, more likely to announce the date of the iPhone 12 and Apple Watch Series 6 virtual events. Traditionally, Apple will send invitations about two weeks before the launch. If Apple sends out an invitation on September 8, the iPhone 12 launch will take place around September 22.
According to Jon Prosser, Apple plans to hold a press release on Tuesday announcing the new iPad and Apple Watch models. Also to be noted that day itself was not “locked in.” Prosser also mentioned that if there are updates, he will provide updates. The so-called Tuesday press release appears to be aimed at iPad and Apple Watch models.
While the new Apple Watch model is likely to be the get a refreshed Series 6, Prosser doesn’t say which iPad will arrive. There has been some confusion in recent months about the low-cost iPad and iPad Air 4. Other sources say, the updated iPad Pro model is likely to arrive this month, so it’s hard to know which iPad it is.
The launch of several of Apple’s products seems imminent. At the end of last month, Apple registered eight Apple Watches and seven iPads in its EEC filings, and various leaks, including iPad Air 4 instructions and design schematics, were also reported. Similar EEC filings have appeared several times before Apple’s new product launch, including models such as the iPad, iPad Pro, iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch and AirPods.
The EEC file actually confirms that the new Apple Watch and at least two different models of iPad will be released soon. Prosser has correctly predicted some of Apple’s release plans in the past. So let’s hope we gotta have the launch dates for upcoming Apple products. Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
