Apple announces Beats Powerbeats Pro truly wireless earphones for $249

Apple has just announced its new pair of truly wireless earbuds. However, this is not release in the Apple portfolio but rather in the Beats lineup. We know that Beats, a premium earphones manufacturer, was acquired by Apple earlier. Later, Apple has been releasing new products in the Beats lineup.

This new pair of wireless earphones from Beats by Apple were already leaked earlier. We already knew that Apple is going to announce a pair of truly wireless earphones in matte black. So the fans who have been waiting for Apple AirPods in matte black can grab this pair of earphones.

Though the Beats Powerbeats Pro are different from Apple AirPods, they are also similar in may ways. First of all, they are truly wireless which means there are no wires connecting them, same as AirPods. Also, the Beats Powerbeats Pro too come with a case same as AirPods.

Also, Powerbeats Pro from Beats come with Apple’s H1 chip as well. We have seen this chip last week on the new Apple AirPods 2 as well. Inclusion of Apple’s H1 chip means that the earbuds support “Hey Siri” feature, again same as AirPods 2. Also, the H1 chip comes with faster and reliable wireless connectivity compared to its previous generation.

Now, the Powerbeats Pro are different from AirPods in one area. While the AirPods are designed for a day-to-day usage, Powerbeats Pro are designed to suit the gym as well. This is because the Powerbeats Pro should not be falling out while doing intensive training because of its design unlike the AirPods.

Also, Powerbeats Pro from Apple are dust and water resistant too same as AirPods, again. Powerbeats Pro’s charging case needs to be charged with Apple lightning cable which is classic Apple. The company claims that Beats Powerbeats Pro can run for 9 hours on single charge and get up to 24 hours wih the charging case.
